The Istanbul Peace Parliament Initiative has drawn attention to the fact that "cross-border operations" and "exercises" really mean "war".

They argue that the Kurdish question can only be solved peacefully.

Because war just means more dead bodies, they are gathering in front of Galatasaray Highschool in Beyoglu, central Istanbul, at 7 pm tonight.

With the slogan "We need a light for peace", pacifists will gather with candles and lights. (TK/AG)
