The General Staff has announced that there will be six temporary security zones in the southeastern provinces of Sirnak, Hakkari and Siirt from 11 December 2007 until 10 March 2008.

Entry into areas around the districts of Cizre, Beytüssebap and Güclukonak as well as the town of Uzungeçit in the province of Sirnak, the districts of Pervari and Eruh in Siirt, and the district of Daglica in Hakkari is particularly restricted.
